About UK Sail

A very warm welcome to UK Sail. This sailing index was first established in November 1997 and ran for 3 years on a free hosting website. Growing quickly it was decided that UK Sail needed a domain name and we ran and maintained the UK Sailing index on UKSail.com since 2000 to 2009. At the beginning of the 2010 we decided to update the site to an easy to administer CMS system (Drupal based). Among other things, we've changed the domain name to UKSail.co.uk to reflect our primary audience, updated our documentation, enhanced our SEO and added a free or full profile function. These additions have made the UK Sail website more user friendly and easier to navigate as well as improving the all important 'searchability'.

If your UK sailing or marine related website or business is not currently listed then please contact us, it's completely free for a basic link and you have the option to create a full profile which includes pictures, text, downloadables and a map function for a reasonable yearly fee.
